2024 YL Conference A Huge Success!

225+ Attend Annual Event in Greenville

The 10th Annual Young Leader Conference held at the AC Hotel in downtown Greenville, SC, was a huge success, drawing over 225 of the Carolinas' top young professionals in the construction industry. Attendees enjoyed a dynamic, two-day event packed with educational sessions, leadership development opportunities, and invaluable networking. The AC Hotel in Downtown Greenville provided the perfect backdrop for the event, making it an unforgettable experience both professionally and socially.

This year’s conference featured two impactful keynote addresses, a highly anticipated 2025 Economic Outlook, several Leadership Development Opportunities, and a Casino Night Social, ensuring there was something for everyone. The new Golf Outing added a fun twist to the event, allowing participants to unwind while networking in a relaxed setting.

Keynote Highlights:

Andy Patron delivered an engaging and interactive session on Time & Self-Management, building on his yearlong focus with Young Leaders. Attendees left equipped with strategies to prioritize tasks, manage distractions, and boost both individual and company performance.

Tyler Enslin offered practical and valuable insights in his session, Effective Feedback. Through this highly interactive workshop, participants learned actionable techniques for delivering and receiving feedback in a way that is both effective and empathetic, contributing to stronger team communication and growth.

In addition to the keynotes, the conference included several additional sessions on leadership, workplace psychology, and best practices. With more than five networking opportunities throughout the event, attendees had countless chances to connect, collaborate, and share ideas with peers and industry leaders.

The 10th Annual Young Leader Conference's success reaffirmed our commitment to developing the next generation of leaders in the construction industry. Members Say it Best!

I attended my first Young Leaders Conference last week and I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it. I think the speakers and their presentation styles were different enough to where it didn’t ever feel like too much of the same thing or something I was looking forward to ending. Specifically, I appreciated Joe Clark, Lisa Beaty, Hattie Hunter, and Tyler Enslin. The Economic Report was also something I enjoyed hearing about with the whys and hows of what has happened and what is projected to happen.

The hotel was top notch and with that, the food served and the rooftop coupled with the location was really neat. It seemed like everyone enjoyed the Casino Night and it kept everyone’s interest and attention with the fun games.

Thank you for all that you’ve done this year and helping to put together the Young Leaders Conference. From my perspective it was a success and something I will be looking forward to attending next year.
