About the Course
The Silica in Construction Competent Person Training is designed for construction supervisors, safety officers, and other designated personnel responsible for overseeing and managing workplace exposure to respirable crystalline silica. This course ensures compliance with OSHA’s Respirable Crystalline Silica Standard for Construction (29 CFR 1926.1153), providing participants with the knowledge and skills to recognize silica hazards and implement effective control measures on construction sites. Upon successful completion of the training, participants will receive a certification, digital certificate, indicating they are a competent person for managing silica hazards in construction. This certification validates their ability to monitor and control silica exposure effectively, promoting a safer and healthier work environment.
