Course Description 

Carolinas AGC teamed up with Wendy Sellers, "The HR Lady" on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 for a class on navigating workplace friendships after a promotion into a supervisory or management role.

Attendees explored how to manage the often awkward transition from peer to leader, especially when supervising former friends or friendly colleagues. Learned strategies to maintain positive relationships while establishing clear boundaries and expectations. Gained insight into promoting a culture of fairness and respect, and the importance of confidentiality and fact-based communication to build trust and credibility within teams.

Wendy Sellers, known as The HR Lady, brings over 25 years of HR, management, and operations experience to the session, offering real-world tools and a no-nonsense approach that resonates with leaders across industries.
