Carolinas AGC teamed up with Marsh and McLennan Agency on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 for a presentation and open forum on Hazard Recognition / Accident Investigations.
We have the ability to make choices throughout our day that can impact us personally, our family, our business, and our co-workers. When you make your decisions are you taking into account ALL the possible circumstances that could come into play? During the program Dan discussed various ways you may get caught and the consequences that may come with the choices that were made. Hazard identification is part of the process used to evaluate any particular situation which may have the potential to cause harm. By identifying the hazards, assessing the risk, and controlling or eliminating the risk; your choices may help reduce the likelihood of an incident, injury, and/or death. When something goes wrong, we need to find out why, so we do not have a repeat of the incident. We will cover a couple different investigation techniques to help identify potential problem and improve operations.
