Course Description: The Superintendent Bootcamp is tailored to enhance the knowledge base of construction professionals aspiring to advance their careers. This course is perfect for field and project engineers, forepersons, assistant superintendents, and anyone eager to acquire an in-depth knowledge of the commercial construction process. The sessions offer an intensive exploration of constructing a project from inception to completion.


Unit 1: Sitework and Foundations

Session 1: Project Set-Up, Surveying & Layout
Session 2: Excavation, Site Utilities
Session 3: Geotechnical Reports, Foundations, and Material Handling
Session 4: Dewatering Underground MEP, Slabs, and Flat Work
Session 5: Environment, Stormwater
Session 6: Scheduling
Session 7: Shoring Systems, Structural Shotcrete, Blindside Waterproofing  

Unit 2: Core & Shell
Live Sessions, Tuesdays and Thursdays, April 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 5:00 – 7:30 PM ET
Session 1: Cast-In-Place Concrete and Post Tensioned Concrete
Session 2: Structural Steel / Pre-Cast Concrete
Session 3: Wood Structures and Modular Systems
Session 4: Stucco, EIFS, Exterior Metal Panels and Cementitious Siding
Session 5: Proper Weather Barrier Installation, Dry-In and Glass and Glazing Systems
Session 6: Masonry
Session 7: Major Equipment  

Unit 3: Finishes and Building Systems
Live Sessions, Tuesdays and Thursdays, May 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 5:00 – 7:30 PM ET
Session 1: HVAC, Plumbing and MEP
Session 2: Specialty: Kitchens, Laundries, Science Labs, Bathrooms
Session 3: Fire Sprinklers, Fire Alarms, and Smoke Control

Session 5: Tile & Stone, Flooring Finishes
