Dean of Engineering and Construction at Trident Technical College to Give Keynote Address

Join us for our Quarterly Lowcountry District Luncheon, on September 23rd from Noon - 1:30 pm, in Charleston, SC. Tim Fulford, Dean of Engineering and Construction at Trident Technical College, will be our keynote speaker this quarter. Tim will share information about the redesigned curriculum at Trident Tech, including information on the 2+2 engineering transfer agreements with The Citadel and Clemson University.
Tim Fulford is currently the Dean of Engineering and Construction at Trident Technical College. He earned a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Arkansas, bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Clemson University, bachelor’s degree in physics from the College of Charleston, and an associate degree in engineering technology from Trident Technical College. He has redesigned curriculum, implemented and designed hybrid and online courses, developed and managed 2+2 engineering transfer agreements with The Citadel and Clemson University, and manages both youth and adult apprenticeship programs. Tim has been at Trident Technical College for 20+ years and has held positions of Project Engineer, Energy Program Manager, and Department Head of Engineering Technology. After completion of his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, he worked for Cummins Engine Company as manufacturing engineer. In addition, Tim was a licensed home builder for 10+ years. He also serves on local high school STEM advisory boards and is the principal investigator on National Science Foundation grants.
