Carolinas AGC’s Foundation is a subsidiary of Carolinas AGC (Associated General Contractors), a nearly 100-year-old trade association that serves the construction industry in North and South Carolina. Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, the CAGC Foundation is seeking a motivated and experienced Manager of the Build Your Career Workforce Initiative. This position is ideal for a strong business development, event organization, volunteer training and ambassadorship person with at least three years’ experience and offers long-term career growth potential with excellent benefits for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has deep skills, knowledge and experience in meetings & events execution, leadership, fundraising and deploying a volunteer workforce. They have proven success in elevating an organization’s event experience. They possess exceptional customer service and organizational skills, attention to detail including writing scripts for meetings, and a professional demeanor. The ideal candidate must thrive in a challenging and fast-paced atmosphere where prioritizing and multi-tasking are the norm. We’re looking for someone with endless enthusiasm, a problem solver, has the ability to sell, is a strong team player who can also delegate and follow-up and hit “home runs” for one of our most important areas of the construction industry. This is a full-time and salaried position.
