Thank you and all of your staff for continuing to provide such timely and critical information not just to the construction industry but to all businesses. Shield Engineering values your members and certainly benefits from our membership in this amazing group. We always need more work to come in the door but the value you provide is amazing. From the PPP presentations to yesterday’s excellent presentation I am depending on the CAGC information as my most reliable source, thank you. Robert L. Griffin, P.E., President and CEO Shield Engineering
A few weeks ago, which now feels like months, I was talking to a friend/staff member of CAGC about the Conference in Aruba. It was a fantastic event with almost 500 Attendees. I told my friend I had a new client reach out to me the first week back home with a project. Yes, this is a great group of people and the networking is paramount. However, the true heart and soul of CAGC is the strong foundation they provide our industry. I’ve always been proud to say I’m a CAGC member! Now I am even more proud! In the midst of this chaos that has become our new lives this group of dedicated, cutting edge and empathetic people have really surpassed my expectations. Y’all are kicking butt! Definitely a stellar job providing information on Covid19 changes affecting our region. So many ways you have stayed relevant and connected through Social media, government updates, email blasts and all the while taking time to call back members!!! Love this country, love this region and love being a member of CAGC! Tracy Hammond, Business Development Manager, Environmental Holdings Group, LLC
Thank you for what CAGC has been doing during the COVID-19 outbreak. The Ogletree webinar was excellent, and the email updates have been very informative for us in guiding our clients. Brian Schoolman, Attorney, Safran Law Offices
It is imperative that this industry stay united in maintaining our status as an “Essential Business and Operation.” Our projects are absolutely necessary. Business as usual for the construction industry includes identifying Safety issues and mitigating Safety issues. We are well equipped to handle this issue and maintain operations. As an industry we need to stay united during this time of uncertainty and continue to provide stability for employees. Thank you, our staff and AGC of America for all of your work with maintaining this designation. Ty Edmondson, Senior Vice President, Utility Division, TA Loving
I wanted to take a moment and personally thank you for all you have been doing to keep all of us up to date lately. This has been a very overwhelming experience but you and the AGC have been on it from the very beginning. We are members of several associations. No one, and I mean no one, has come close to the support you have provided to our company. I know you work tirelessly with probably very little thanks from anyone. Mike Crenshaw, President, King Asphalt
Carolinas AGC has mobilized quickly to advocate for our industry in a challenging environment. There has been outreach to government, industry and business leaders to ensure that our work continues as efficiently and steadily as possible. The AGC staff anticipated and protected our interests and preserved our jobs and schedules. Our membership proves its worth in times like these. Ron P. Shaw, President, Lee Construction Company of the Carolinas, Inc.
"Carolinas AGC staff has been a great source of information," Lynn Hansen, Chair of CAGC’s Utility Division, said during a recent Utility Division Roundtable discussion about the pandemic crisis. She noted that CAGC has helped lead efforts to keep construction going as an essential service in both NC and SC. Lynn Hansen, President, Crowder Constructors, Inc.
