With 2020 firmly in the rearview mirror, there is a renewed interest in joining the Carolinas AGC. In the first month alone, we experienced a record-breaking number of new members making the membership commitment.
In addition to strong recruitment numbers for new members, our 2020 retention rate is near an all-time high at 95% despite the Covid-19 challenge, with our renewal percentages for the bulk of our member companies running at 100% for general contractors based outside the Carolinas, 97% for general contractors based in the Carolinas, 95% for specialty contractors and 92% for suppliers/service companies whose memberships lapsed Oct.1st of last year.

Our new members are wanting to be involved right away by asking, “How can I make a difference?” and “What can I do?” We love to hear these questions, and they are the reasons why Carolinas AGC continues to bring added value to our members. With over 30 different committees focusing on a variety of interest, and dozens of events (virtual at the moment), there’s many ways for our new members to get their voices heard and make a difference in the construction industry!
