Course Description:

In partnership with CATAPULT Employers Association, CAGC Foundation is offering Microsoft Excel for HR. Is your HR Department wasting time manipulating canned reports from HCM and payroll systems? Do you need help accessing and analyzing data quickly? Are data errors causing you concerns? Whether auditing, reconciling bills, calculating bonuses and PTO, or analyzing turnover data, Excel offers tools to help. Based on guidance from HR experts and our interaction with supporting members, we identified the most common and helpful Excel tips that can benefit new and experienced HR individuals.

This course explores using lookups to pull information out of multiple workbooks, bringing in delimited information from other sources, filtering information, using date calculations to figure out things like tenure and turnover, visually representing data to make it simple to review, and many tips and tricks that can help most every Excel user increase their productivity and decrease errors.

Prerequisites:

This course requires that you are familiar with Excel. You should have successfully completed Excel 1 and 2 or used the software for over six months.

Note: This course will be taught using the windows operating system environment.

Special Cancellation Policy:

• Cancellation 4 business days prior to start of class you are welcome to send a substitute that meets the prerequisites. No reschedules or refunds will be available.
• Any no-shows are charged the full rate.
• Only 1 participant per registration (no group-watching or forwarding links, etc. ).

CAGC Education Refund & Cancellation Policy
a 50% refund of the original registration fee if cancellation is made 7 days prior to the event. Any cancellations less than 7 days or no shows receive no refund, substitutions are welcome.
