Description:

Join CAGC and panelists who are working in the commercial construction industry as they tackle the issue of employee retention. This will be a series of seven round table discussions each highlighting a specific retention strategy and how it is being implemented and how it is actually working.

Part 5: Employee Loyalty | October 16th, 2024
Series Session 5 of 7 (1 hour)
Building loyalty among employees involves creating a workplace culture that prioritizes their well-being, growth, and success. In commercial construction, where project timelines can be lengthy and demands are high, fostering loyalty through fair treatment, opportunities for advancement, and a supportive work environment is vital for retaining skilled workers who are integral to project success.

Part 6: DE&I (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) | November 12th, 2024
Series Session 6 of 7 (1 hour)
Embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace not only cultivates a more innovative and dynamic workforce but also enhances employee retention. In commercial construction, where diversity may be lacking, actively promoting DE&I initiatives creates a more welcoming and supportive environment where all employees feel valued and respected, ultimately reducing turnover and attracting top talent.

Part 7: Financial Management Skills | December 11th, 2024
Series Session 7 of 7 (1 hour)
Providing employees with financial management skills not only empowers them to make better financial decisions but also enhances their overall well-being and job satisfaction. In commercial construction, where financial stability can fluctuate based on project cycles, equipping employees with the knowledge and tools to manage their finances effectively can alleviate stress and increase loyalty, leading to higher retention rates.
