It displays this material on one page, in a standardized format. You can use this free service to subscribe to updates from favored websites, and view them at your convenience.

When you see this symbol: -- it means the source you are viewing makes its content available via an RSS feed. You can aggregate various web sites' content and reduce the number of e-mails you receive by signing up to receive updated content via RSS.

To subscribe to an RSS feed, you need a "feed reader"-free software that "grabs" the RSS feeds that you request from various sites and displays them for you.
