"Why?" for members: you can control a variety of preferences & displays when you login with your personal password:

  • Your Company Profile
--This information displays for public viewing in Find/Contractors Suppliers, where Carolinas AGC showcases our member firms.
--Some of it also appears in the annual Membership Directory.
--In IBuild, wherever your company name appears, all CAGC members can view your company profile.
--CAGC uses your company profile data to determine types of member-only information that we provide.
--You can review all password holders associated with your firm and remove any former employees.

  • Your Personal Profile
--Receive special-interest communications in your area/s of responsibility.
    --In IBuild:
When you add your name to any project as an Interested Subcontractor or Supplier, the "work description" from your Personal Profile appears to site visitors.
  • You don't want to share or user any other member's password!
--If more than one person uses the same password, you lose personalized services within IBuild such as:
--Project Alerts sent to the e-mail address of the password holder who tracked the project.
--Saved Search Results sent on Monday mornings to the e-mail address of the password holder who created the search.
--Welcome page display of the password holder's last login - not necessarily you if you share passwords.
--Viewing preferences: the changes you make will show only for the username and password that you use to login.
