Daily Project Alert Service
This brief e-mail displays all new projects or addenda added to IBuild in the last 24 hours. Each job hyperlinks to its information online. The Alert— free to all employees of member companies— is delivered to your computer every weekday morning.

Its simplicity helps you scan each day's new work leads at a glance. The Daily Project Alert is offered as a complement to IBuild project leads— members have 2 ways to find work: a quick morning scan or a detailed listing online.

IBuildPlus Plans Online (Membership Upgrade)
CAGC Member firms can upgrade their membership level to IBuildPLUS for an additional fee. With IBuildPlus, members can view project details, plans, specs and addenda online. They can also make annotation notes on the documents; download and print plans, specs and addenda; measure lines, area, counts and pitch/elevation onscreen using the custom-designed takeoff application; and more. The Plans Online upgrade pricing is listed below in addition to your base membership dues:

Subcontractors & Supplier Members: $1,995.00 per membership year
General Contractors: $1,495.00 per membership year
To receive Plans Online at additional locations:
One additional location: $395 per year
Two, three or four additional locations: $695 per year
Five, six or seven additional locations: $1,295 per year
Eight to Ten additional locations: $1,895 per year
Eleven or more additional locations: $175.00 per office per year

The Carolinas AGC Quarterly NewsBreak is a printed overview of Association and industry news distributed to members 4 times a year. Any employee of a Carolinas AGC member firm can get the publication mailed to them each quarter by contacting Sandra Linehan at 704/372-1450 ext. 5288.

Safety Services
Carolinas AGC Safety Services Department has a full-time safety professional who work for you, as an extension of your own staff. You can establish a company safety program, set up "tool box" safety talks, or begin a drug-free workplace program all with professional help. Help you improve your "bottom line" with a Safety & Health Manual, OSHA Standards publications, safety videos & seminars or any of our other valuable resources.

Legislative/Lobbying
Carolinas AGC is a highly proactive force with a dynamic legislative program of specific goals to advance the interests of the construction industry. Two lobbyists in both Raleigh and Columbia monitor thousands of bills during each session of the General Assembly in both states. You have less taxation, sensible regulation and more "say so" in the governmental process thanks to AGC.

Workforce Development
Supervisory training, craftworker programs and management education help you and your employees be more effective. For the beginning laborer through the CEO we offer courses in workshop, institute, day/evening, technical school and in-house settings. Many of our programs are award-winning, definitive products produced and taught by experts in their particular fields.

Subcontractors, Suppliers & Service Companies
Members have direct input on issues specific to their needs via formal Advisory Boards and are also automatically enrolled as members of National AGC. The members may also serve on most AGC committees and the Board of Directors. Subcontractors and Specialty Contractors as well as Supplier and Service Company members benefit from all of Carolinas AGC's programs and services. Carolinas AGC is run by members. As member partners you have the opportunity to chart the direction of your Association and the industry. From joint committees with architects and engineers to loss prevention and the DOT, you tell us what is best for you.

Networking Opportunities
The Association provides you with invaluable opportunities for networking and business contacts. There are literally hundreds of gatherings each year --- committee, district and division meetings and annual convention. These plus many advertising, all offer you a choice of networking opportunities.

Labor Relations
Open shop construction allows our member firms to manage their businesses more efficiently. Carolinas AGC remains actively committed to working for a union-free environment. We also keep you abreast of new activities on the labor relations scene and with current EEO requirements.

Insurance Services
CompTrustAGC is a self-insured workers' compensation fund for commercial contractors managed by contractors. It operates like an insurance company but with many value added services. Membership Roster/Find Contractors & Suppliers
Members are showcased on our web site under Find Contractors & Suppliers. Web site visitors (members and non-members) visit our site to search for GC's, Subcontractors and Suppliers using a variety of products and services criteria.

The Roster is a comprehensive annual directory of all regular GC members, subcontractors, suppliers, architects and engineers.

Standard Forms & Documents
Access to a supply of nationally recognized contract documents and forms. These include books, catalogs and reference materials on such subjects as design/build, contractor/subcontractor relations and construction management as well as AIA standard contract and accounting documents and subcontract forms.
