Contractor-Tested Technology

Field2Base was spotlighted at the 2005 National AGC convention when Carolinas member firm Clancy & Theys won first place in the Best Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Contest for its use of Field2Base technology. Clancy and Theys, like many construction firms, was looking for a way to improve field communications from site superintendents to other key project players. When an issue was identified in the field, traditional communications required the superintendent to return to the job site trailer to copy plans or documents, send faxes, make calls, send e-mails, or even snail mail information. Clancy and Theys saw an opportunity to greatly streamline its field communications using many aspects of Field2Base, all which saved an enormous amount of time and energy.
