members 4 times a year. Our 10,000+ readers include company owners, upper management, project managers and
other key decision makers within our general contractor, subcontractor, supplier and service company member firms.

The deadlines for receiving the electronic file (see back for file specifications) for ads are: |
Winter ‘06: October 16 |

Autumn ‘07: July 16 |
Ads received after that date will run in the next issue. |

Preferred Material: Digital Files
Media: Zip and CD-ROM
Accepted Format: Adobe Acrobat 6.0 or 7.0 PDF.
- PDF’s must have all fonts and images imbedded.
- Images should be 300dpi (at 100%)
- PDF’s MUST be centered within the page area
- Crop Marks must be offset by 1/4 inch
- PDFX1a is the preferred settings/format, this setting is available in Acrobat Distiller 6 & 7

- Files MUST include all screen, printer fonts and linked graphics needed to output the file.
- ALL FILES MUST BE BLACK & WHITE, no RGB or SPOT COLOR embedded images. Resolution no less than
300 dpi at 100%.
- Ultra high resolution images (450dpi and above) may require extra processing time and incur additional charges. All
images should be as close to 300dpi at 100% size as possible.
- LASER PROOF MUST ACCOMPANY All DIGITAL FILES. Advertisements that do not meet these requirements will
be billed for corrections.

- Quark, PageMaker, Illustrator, Freehand, In-Design, PhotoShop.
We will not accept: Microsoft Word,Works, Excel, Publisher or PowerPoint documents.
