As the first construction association in the Carolinas accredited by the National Center for Construction Education & Research for craftworker training, Carolinas AGC offers progressive training from craftworker to supervisor, certification programs, instructor training and certification , coordination of career fairs, setting up classes, and customized programs.

NCCER LogoCarolinas AGC's craft training is based on the Contren Learning Series of modules designed to teach specific tasks, or a sequence of tasks for each job. Students are tested on their skills at the completion of each module. The National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) is responsible for the design, implementation, control, and evaluation of this national standardized craft training process. Carolinas AGC offers many courses each year throughout North and South Carolina.

Carolinas AGC is committed to providing current and potential craftworkers in North and South Carolina with a thorough, practical, efficient and cost-effective mechanism to help them become skilled and valued representatives of the construction industry.

Student Certification

Employees who successfully complete craft training modules receive certification documentation.  This training system provides employers a measure of confidence when hiring new employees who have attained certification status in a particular field.
