Overview

The Carolinas AGC Highway-Heavy Division is the leading transportation industry trade group in the Carolinas. The members of this division perform approximately 90% of the public work contracted for by the Departments of Transportation in North and South Carolina.

Carolinas AGC highway contractors also provide street, road and bridge improvements associated with private developments as well as for both large and small municipalities throughout both states. In addition, CAGC member highway contractors are the major contractors in the many varied infrastructure improvements at the military installations in the Carolinas.

Our online "Highway Letting Bidder Sign-Up Room" assists prime contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and service companies in indicating their interests in bidding or offering quotes on specific highway projects in the monthly DOT lettings in both North and South Carolina.

CAGC Highway Division committees and task forces help define and establish the course of the highway construction industry and provide input to the owners, both public and private, on the most efficient and cost effective contracting processes available. The division leadership and membership is dedicated to quality, professionalism, and integrity.
